The Realtors<\/a> Property Resource\u00ae, a subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS\u00ae, announced that CEO Dale Ross will be retiring May 1. RPR\u00a0said in a release that\u00a0Jeff Young,\u00a0chief operating officer and general manager, will assume responsibility for all RPR activities, reporting directly to NAR CEO Bob Goldberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

In 2009, Ross led the formation of RPR, a real estate<\/a> data and analytics platform. RPR is an exclusive benefit to NAR\u2019s 1.3 million members. The national database was officially launched to members in 2010. The database has grown to include more than 95 percent of active listing<\/a> data in the U.S. In March, RPR reached a record number of users.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Young has also served in roles with RPR since the beginning. He was promoted to COO in 2015 and oversaw all non-development components of RPR\u2019s national delivery, including RPR\u2019s broker, commercial, association, and MLS programs;\u00a0training;\u00a0customer support;\u00a0marketing;\u00a0budget;\u00a0and administrative systems.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In his new role, Young will focus on creating a \u201cmore dynamic culture and increased synergies across RPR, as well as more closely aligning RPR\u2019s mission with NAR\u2019s strategic plans for 2018 and beyond, while creating further cost efficiencies throughout the organization,\u201d according to a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a very positive direction for RPR and represents my expectation that RPR focus on optimizing its structure, allowing it to see increased efficiencies, while meeting its budgetary targets, as part of NAR\u2019s overall organization realignment,\u201d says Bob Goldberg, NAR\u2019s CEO. Goldberg also expressed his appreciation for Ross\u2019 achievements as CEO leading RPR to become one of the \u201cpremier real estate databases in the industry.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
