The average time to <a href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/find-foreclosed-properties-by-zip-code\/\">foreclose<\/a> jumped to more than 1,000 days nationwide in the fourth quarter of 2017. That marks a 14 percent increase from the previous quarter and a 28 percent increase from a year ago. It also is the longest number of days to process a <a class=\"thirstylink\" title=\"Search Foreclosure Homes in United State\" href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/recommends\/search-foreclosure-homes-in-united-state\/\"><strong>foreclosure<\/strong><\/a> since ATTOM Data Solutions, a <a href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/property-center-nigeria\/\">real estate<\/a> data firm, began tracking <a href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/guide-on-how-to-buy-a-foreclosed-home\/\">foreclosure<\/a> timelines in the first quarter of 2007.<\/p>\n<p>The states with the longest average times to foreclose in the fourth quarter of 2017 were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Indiana: 2,370 days<\/li>\n<li>Nevada: 1,933 days<\/li>\n<li>Florida: 1,493 days<\/li>\n<li>New Jersey: 1,298 days<\/li>\n<li>Georgia: 1,263 days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On a county level, the places with the longest average times to <a class=\"thirstylink\" title=\"Search Foreclosure Homes in United State\" href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/recommends\/search-foreclosure-homes-in-united-state\/\">foreclose<\/a> in the fourth quarter of 2017 were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Queens County, N.Y.: 2,810 days<\/li>\n<li>Marion County, Ind. (Indianapolis): 2,810 days<\/li>\n<li>Orange County, Fla. (Orlando): 2,109 days<\/li>\n<li>Henry County, Ga. (Atlanta): 2,075 days<\/li>\n<li>Cherokee County, Ga.
