The National Association of REALTORS\u00ae celebrated milestones, reiterated priorities, and discussed possible changes to the organization. Here are some highlights from the conference showing how REALTORS\u00ae are honoring the past by moving toward the future.<\/p>\n

Elizabeth Mendenhall, a sixth-generation REALTOR\u00ae and the sixth woman to become president of the National Association of REALTORS\u00ae in the past 110 years, was sworn into office by her father, Richard Mendenhall, who was 2001 NAR president, during the Inaugural gala. \u201cAre you ready to own it with me?\u201d Mendenhall asked. \u201cWe absolutely have the power to make a difference.\u201d<\/p>\n

REALTORS<\/a><\/strong>\u00ae and Habitat for the Win<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a homecoming of sorts for the long-running tradition of NAR partnering with Habitat for Humanity, the REALTORS\u00ae Volunteer Build returned to Chicago, where it began in 2001.
