1280px\"\/><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p>The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) biennial conference and General Meeting will hold this month at NAF Conference Centre and Suites, Gwarimpa Expressway, Kado, Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>With a theme, \u2018Developing the Economy for Sustainable Growth-The Construction Industry as an Effective Stimulant,\u2019 the international event will be declared open by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibajo, graced by resource persons and participants from within and outside the country.<\/p>\n<p>Among participants are member nations of the African Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS) as well as professionals from the Construction\/Real Estate, Banking, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/what-us-insurance-companies-offer-the-best-workers-compensation-insurance\"   title=\"Insurance\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Insurance<\/a>, Captains of Industry, government officials, as well as the general public.<\/p>\n<p>Construction being a viable vehicle for reviving a recessed economy, the conference will undoubtedly open a new vista and way-forward out of the on-going economic malaise in the country, as various policy thrusts will be developed through the discourse.<\/p>\n<p>The grand-finale of the week-long event will include the investiture of the new Executive Council and exchange of batons from the current, and the first lady President of the Institute, Mrs. Mercy Torkwase Iyortyer to Mr. Obafemi
