Still, homeowners tend to believe their homes are worth more than appraisers do.<\/p>\n<p>In September, homeowners\u2019 opinions on home prices tended to be 1.14 percent higher than appraisers, according to the latest National Quicken <a href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/fast-flexible-real-estate-loans-usa\/\">Loans<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/tips-for-house-price-negotiation\/\">Home Price<\/a> Perceptions Index.<\/p>\n<p>There is a fair amount of variation\u00a0in price perceptions across the country, however. For example, in Dallas, appraisals were, on average, 2.87 percent higher than homeowners\u2019 expectations.
