\"\"Former Zillow exec Nick Bailey is taking the reins of franchise giant Century 21 as its new president and chief executive officer.<\/p>\n

Bailey has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate<\/a> industry in franchising, brokerage, and management technology, and as a licensed broker. Bailey first became licensed in real estate at age 21, and became a broker shortly after. He says from a young age he learned \u201cthat the value of an agent is not in the data but the professional service, knowledge, and negotiation skills he or she brings to the table.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy challenge is to build this company to its greatest market potential by inspiring, interacting, and working collaboratively with the people inside and outside this organization and translating this ongoing momentum into additional share for Century 21 agents,\u201d Bailey says.<\/p>\n

Bailey served 11 years at RE\/MAX world headquarters, credited with helping to drive agent growth and retention. He joined Zillow in 2012, and during his tenure there served as vice president of broker relationships. He provided online technology and marketing solutions to real estate professionals and sought to drive expansion of products and services through partnerships and business development.<\/p>\n

\u201cNick’s appointment signals the beginning of a new era at Century 21,\u201d John Peyton, president and CEO of the Realogy Franchise Group, said in a statement. \u201cWe are an agent-centric company, and with Nick\u2019s analytical understanding of the needs and wants of today\u2019s digital consumers, he will immediately begin fostering a culture of developing and retaining high-performing talent within C21.\u201d<\/p>\n

Century 21 is comprised of about 7,450 franchised broker offices over 79 countries worldwide. It boasts more than 115,000 independent sales professionals.<\/p>\n
