Last year at this time, 30-year rates averaged 3.45 percent.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>15-year fixed-rate mortgages:<\/strong> averaged 3.18 percent, with an average 0.5 point, the same average as last week. A year ago, 15-year rates averaged 2.76 percent.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>5-year hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages:<\/strong> averaged 3.14 percent, with an average 0.5 point, falling from last week\u2019s 3.15 percent average.
