After all, some cities may be more in tune to the routines of early risers, while others may be better suited for those who prefer to stay up to the wee hours of the night. Realtor<\/a>.com\u00ae\u2019s research team scoured city data for average bedtimes, the percentage of home buyers using realtor.com after 10 p.m. (for night owls) and before 9 a.m. (for early risers), the number of restaurants opening early or late, the average worker commute time, and more.<\/p>\n

The top five cities for night owls:<\/p>\n

  1. New York: 11:55 p.m. (average bedtime)<\/li>\n
  2. Las Vegas: 11:49 p.m.<\/li>\n
  3. New Orleans: 11:47 p.m.<\/li>\n
  4. Cincinnati: 11:37 p.m.<\/li>\n
  5. Miami: 11:54 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Meanwhile, the top five cities for early risers:<\/p>\n

    1. Honolulu: 6:29 a.m. (average wake-up time)<\/li>\n
    2. Denver: 6:52 a.m.<\/li>\n
    3. Scottsdale, Ariz.: 6:41\u00a0a.m.<\/li>\n
    4. Bakersfield, Calif.: 6.52 a.m.<\/li>\n
    5. Arlington, Va.: 7:10 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
