{"id":4794,"date":"2017-06-01T10:04:29","date_gmt":"2017-06-01T10:04:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/?p=4794"},"modified":"2017-06-01T10:04:29","modified_gmt":"2017-06-01T10:04:29","slug":"trump-and-hillary-trade-jabs-in-twitter-skirmish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/trump-and-hillary-trade-jabs-in-twitter-skirmish\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump and Hillary trade jabs in Twitter skirmish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div itemprop=\"description\" readability=\"77\">\n<p>President Donald Trump has taken a swing on Twitter at one of his favorite punching bags, Democrat Hillary Clinton \u2014 and his former presidential rival has hit back with her own zinger.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_649512\" style=\"width: 412px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/d19lga30codh7.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/trump-vs-clinton-e1465391171830.jpg?resize=412%2C269\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/d19lga30codh7.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/plugins\/lazy-load\/images\/1x1.trans.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"412\" height=\"269\" class=\"size-full wp-image-649512\"\/><noscript><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/d19lga30codh7.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/trump-vs-clinton-e1465391171830.jpg?resize=412%2C269\" alt=\"\" width=\"412\" height=\"269\" class=\"size-full wp-image-649512\"\/><\/noscript><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Trump and Hillary<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>The trouble started Wednesday when Clinton raised questions over whether Trump\u2019s campaign was linked to the alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 US presidential election.<\/p>\n<p><!-- between content ad --><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a technology conference in California, Clinton said Russia\u2019s government \u201ccould not have known how best to weaponize that information unless they had been guided\u201d by Americans with polling data.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton was referring to the hacking of her campaign\u2019s emails, which she has argued was partly to blame for her losing to the <a href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/property-center-nigeria\/\">real estate<\/a> mogul.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m leaning Trump,\u201d she said Wednesday of the connections. \u201cI think it\u2019s pretty hard not to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump was not buying it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCrooked Hillary Clinton now blames everybody but herself, refuses to say she was a terrible candidate. Hits Facebook &amp; even Dems &amp; DNC,\u201d he wrote on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton has also placed partial blame on fake news about her being widely spread on Facebook and now ex-FBI director James Comey re-opening his probe into her misuse of government email.<\/p>\n<p>She took to Twitter to fire back at Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople in covfefe <a href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/really-nice-property-for-sale-in-nigeria\/\">houses<\/a> shouldn\u2019t throw covfefe,\u201d she wrote in a brief message.<\/p>\n<p>Trump used the non-existant word in an incomplete sentence tweeted just after midnight Tuesday. The tweet remained online for some 5.5 hours, sparking worldwide ridicule.<\/p>\n<p>The message was finally deleted early Wednesday, and Trump joke about it in a subsequent tweet.<\/p>\n<p>Spokesman Sean Spicer was asked about the cryptic word.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant,\u201d Spicer told incredulous reporters at a news briefing.
