Last year at this time, 30-year rates averaged 3.57 percent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>15-year fixed-rate mortgages:<\/strong> averaged 3.29 percent, with an average 0.5 point, rising from last week\u2019s 3.27 percent. A year ago, 15-year rates averaged 2.81 percent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>5-year hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages:<\/strong> averaged 3.14 percent, with an average 0.5 point, rising from last week\u2019s 3.13 percent average.
