\u2014 Mar 2, 2017 1:38 am<\/span> | The Federal Mortgage<\/a> Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) has disbursed about N32million to 383 eligible personnel of the Nigerian Army, contributing to the National Housing<\/a> Fund (NHF) in the last three years adding that Contributors\u2019 Statement of Account were up to date.<\/p>\n The Apapa District Coordinator of the bank, Mrs. Uche Okoli stated this in Lagos when the Nigerian Army Command Apapa led by the Director of Finance and Accounts Brig. General J.O Ozigi was on a courtesy visit to the bank.<\/p>\n She maintained that FMBN and federal government are working on a number of initiatives towards increasing housing supply in the country, even as she urged the beneficiaries to take advantage of the opportunity to become home owners which she believed would improve productivity in the Service.<\/p>\n Okoli commended the initiative of the Command in creating a platform of engagement towards forging a stronger relationship between the bank and Nigeria Army, promising to continually strive towards improving service delivery.<\/p>\n She however, appreciated the bank for the mutual cooperation and sustained cordial relationship with the Nigerian Army.<\/p>\n Also speaking, the Director, Nigerian Army Finance and Accounts (DAFA), Brig. General J.O Ozigi applauded the bank in providing timely service, advice and trendy information in the mortgage and housing industry.<\/p>\n He also sought the support of the bank in sensitization and enrollment of new recruits of the Nigerian Army on the national housing fund scheme at their entry parade.<\/p>\n Some of the areas of discussions during the meeting were NHF Refunds for eligible applicants from the Nigerian Army, mortgage loan<\/a> accessibility, contributors\u2019 statement of account, and the need to sustain mutual platform.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
