{"id":1751,"date":"2017-03-11T00:35:13","date_gmt":"2017-03-11T00:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/?p=1751"},"modified":"2020-08-15T02:07:04","modified_gmt":"2020-08-15T02:07:04","slug":"wike-assures-investors-of-land-tax-relief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/wike-assures-investors-of-land-tax-relief\/","title":{"rendered":"Governor Wike assures investors of land, tax relief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has invited foreign and local<strong> investors<\/strong> to take advantage of the rapid developmental strides of his administration to invest in all sectors of the state\u2019s economy, in order to \u00a0 create jobs.<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-764663\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><!-- between content ad --><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_734362\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" style=\"width: 412px;\"><noscript><\/noscript><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wike<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He assured that first-time investors in sectors such as tourism and hospitality, <a href=\"https:\/\/amazingproperty.com.ng\/blog\/property-center-nigeria\/\">housing<\/a> and property development, as well as\u00a0 agriculture and ICT skills development would receive attractive tax incentives and easy access to land in the state.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a group of foreign media correspondents in Lagos, the state Commissioner for Information and Communication, Dr Austin Tam-George, who spoke of the government\u2019s tax plan,\u00a0 also dismissed security concerns about the state, saying that Rivers State was among the safest destinations for investment in the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe narrative that Rivers State is unsafe is an ugly slander against the state by a disgruntled political opposition,\u201d the commissioner said, adding that as the oil and gas hub in the country, Rivers State had offered the highest return on investment in Nigeria since 1958.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Tam-George said activities marking the Golden Jubilee celebrations in Rivers State in May would showcase the different opportunities for \u00a0 investment in the state.<\/p>\n<p><a> vanguard <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has invited foreign and local investors to take advantage of &hellip;
