The range of movement for the 30-year has been half that, just 11 basis points.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Freddie Mac reports the following national averages with mortgage rates for the week ending March 2:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>30-year fixed-rate mortgages: <\/strong>averaged 4.10 percent, with an average 0.5 point, dropping from last week\u2019s 4.16 percent average. A year ago, 30-year rates averaged 3.64 percent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>15-year fixed-rate mortgages: <\/strong>averaged 3.32 percent, with an average 0.5 point, falling from last week\u2019s 3.37 percent average. Last year at this time, 15-year rates averaged 2.94 percent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>5-year hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages: <\/strong>averaged 3.14 percent, with an average 0.4 point, falling from last week\u2019s 3.16 percent average.
