VHT Studios announced it has acquired the photography business of Circlepix, combining two of the largest real estate photographer networks in the country. VHT Studios and Circlepix both have a nationwide network of professional real estate photographers and image specialists. Circlepix over the years has focused its business on their software platform. VHT Studios has only acquired the real estate photography portion of their business.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Circlepix clients and photographers to our growing company,” says Brian Balduf, VHT Studios CEO. “With the combined talent base, we will be able to provide more services to more real estate professionals across the United States. As part of our growth strategy, we continue to look for partners that work to achieve the same high standards as VHT Studios for quality, service and convenience. Our proprietary platform for the production and management of visual marketing assets helps both photographers and real estate professionals get the best return on their efforts and investments.”
Circlepix launched in 2000, just two years after VHT Studios. It is credited with pioneering 360-degree imagery in real estate photography. In recent years, it has focused more on providing software. VHT has been expanding its offerings to include virtual staging, interactive floor plans, drone photography, video, and 3-D home tours.
“VHT Studios and Circlepix both view excellent imagery and technology as integral to leading the industry,” says Robert Davis, Circlepix CEO.
This marks the second acquisition for VHT Studios in recent years. In 2015, VHT Studios acquired New York’s Gotham Photo Company.
