Nearly 9,000 REALTORS® and state and local association executives are in Washington, D.C., this week to make their voices count on Capitol Hill. At the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo, members and leaders will gather to advance real estate and policy issues, including tax reform, credit and lending policies, and insurance programs. “The meetings offer members the chance to have a big impact on our issues and how we address priorities,” says William E. Brown, president of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, Federal Emergency Management Agency Deputy Roy Wright, and journalist Chris Wallace are among the speakers scheduled for the event.
In addition to meeting with Congressional lawmakers, REALTORS® will visit federal agencies including the U.S. Treasury, Veterans Affairs, the Federal Aviation Administration, and FEMA to discuss key real estate and business issues with government officials.
